The Knights of Columbus, Council 7113 of Americus recently presented a donation of $500 to the Sumter County Fire and Rescue Life Safety Bureau. The donation was from the 2016 Annual Golf Tournament held on May 7. The donation helps provide smoke detectors for residents who cannot afford to purchase and maintain them.
