AMERICUS — The Americus Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 912 E. Lamar St.
Officers were told that the business had been robbed by two unidentified males. Officers were told the two suspects entered the store wearing all black with their faces covered, brandishing hand guns, and demanding money. An undetermined amount of money was taken and no one was injured. The suspects fled the business on foot and no direction of travel was known.
