Newly elected Southwestern Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Jimmie Brown, at left, was sworn in Monday at the Lee County Courthouse by Lee County Probate Judge John Wheaton. Brown’s wife Tina held the Bible. Jimmie Brown was elected in the May Primary Election, defeating Kevin Kwashnak and Lewis Lamb in the nonpartisan race. Brown fills the seat vacated by Superior Court Judge George Peagler Jr., who is retiring.
