• Firefighters responded to 18 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on South Lee Street which was activated after the power went out.
• Firefighters responded to Hanson Drive to an alarm. Smoke detectors were triggered but there was no fire. They replaced batteries in the detectors.
• Firefighters responded to East Jefferson Street to an alarm. It was activated by someone cooking.

• Biancia Bridges, 38, of 102 Graham St., Plains was arrested on a warrant for simple battery.
