Local theft suspect arrested

AMERICUS — The Americus Police Department’s (APD) Investigation Division arrested Terrell Reynolds, 18, of Frieda Lane, Americus, late last week, charging him with eight counts of entering autos stemming from incidents occurring in December 2016 and January 2017.
According to a press release from the APD, seized at the time of Reynold’s arrest were two stolen firearms and some electronic equipment. Reynolds was processed and is currently housed in the Sumter County Jail.
