Greg Kirk welcomes the Chaplain of the Day

ATLANTA — State Sen. Greg Kirk, R-Americus, welcomed Dr. Todd Sullens, to the Senate to serve as Chaplain of the Day on Tuesday.
“It was a pleasure to have Dr. Sullens with us today,” said Kirk. “He reminded us that although we may want to quit or throw in the towel during difficult times, it is important for us to keep striving and not to grow weary. Dr. Sullens explained that even though our jobs may become very stressful, we must understand that we are all fighting for the well-being of our families.”
Sullens has been the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg for three years. He is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University and earned his master’s and doctor of ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. During his career, he served for churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia. He and his wife, Nicole, have five children. Sullens continues to spread his love for Jesus to through his church and the Leesburg community.
