AMERICUS — Mr. Roland Kauffman, age 45, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.

Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. on Friday, March 24, at Cornerstone Church, with Pastor Kevin Brown and the Rev. Lance Fendley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Keith Kauffman, Joel Kauffman, Hanz Nussbaum, Gregory Marks, Aaron Nolar, Adam Johnson, Merle Diem, Faron Wingard, and Luke Yoder.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 23, at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St.

Born Nov. 12, 1971, in Montezuma, he was a son of Larry Kauffman and Linda Yoder Kauffman.

Mr. Kauffman was the paint department manager at Shiver Lumber Co. He was an actively involved member of Cornerstone Church, and was a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Americus.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Kauffman of Americus; two daughters: Tori Batts and Emily Kauffman, both of Americus; parents, Larry and Linda Kauffman of Montezuma; sisters and brothers: Tina Nussbaum (Hanz) of Montezuma, Keith Kauffman of Austin, Texas, Londa Marks (Gregory) of Monterey, Va., Liz Nolar (Aaron) of Marshallville, Rachel Johnson (Adam) of Montezuma, and Joel Kauffman (Diana) of Marshallville, and Judith Leidle (Stefan) of Denver, Colo.; and 17 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kiwanis Club of Americus, P.O. Box 992, Americus GA 31709.
