AMERICUS — An Americus man was killed in a one-vehicle traffic crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Georgia State Patrol Post 10, Americus which investigated, the call came at 1:18 p.m. to U.S. Highway 280 West, in front of the John Deere tractor dealership.
According to the trooper’s report, Keny George Luster, 50, of 359 R.W. Jones Road, Leslie, driving a 2002 Ford pickup truck, was traveling west on 280 when the truck left the roadway and crossed a ditch. The truck continued to travel onto the business’ property where it struck a tractor and a hay-bailer before flipping. Luster was killed.
