ATLANTA — Former President Jimmy Carter was back on the worksite Friday morning for Habitat for Humanity in Winnipeg.
Carter was hospitalized Thursday morning for dehydration after collapsing at the building site.
The Carter Center released an update Friday morning revealing that Carter had been in attendance at the 8 a.m. devotional at the building site. Today is the final day of the five-day 24th Habitat for Humanity Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Canada.
“Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was discharged from St. Boniface General Hospital this morning … He and Mrs. Carter extend their appreciation for the many well-wishes he received worldwide,” the Carter Center release said.
