ANDERSONVILLE – According to the Andersonville National Historic Site, local events related to the annual POW-MIA commemoration have been cancelled due to the effects of Hurricane Irma.

This includes the Wednesday convocation scheduled at Georgia Southwestern State University and the Friday event at the National Prisoner of War Museum at the historic site.
