SHARPSBURG — Mrs. Geraldine P. Perry, 65, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at her home, after succumbing to a long battle with cancer. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at the family home in Sharpsburg, Georgia.

Geraldine was born Jan. 21, 1952, in Ellaville, Ga.; she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Hattie Bell Perkins. “Geri” was a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend to many. Geri retired as a federal government employee, and was a member of World Changers Church International in College Park, Ga.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James C. Perry; two children, Jennifer Alexander and Keith Perry (Chiara); four grandchildren Justin Perry, Jarred Alexander, Kelcey Perry and Jacob Alexander. Geri is also survived by a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
