The Junior Service League of Americus announces this year’s winners of the Cowpoke Coloring Contest: Kindergarten: 1st place-Keeli Hammock (Schley County), 2nd place-Matthew Wall (Southland), 3rd place- La’Dorion Nash (Sumter County Primary School); First grade: 1st place-Danna Hernandez  (Sumter County Primary School), 2nd place-Addy Harrod (Southland), 3rd place-Cotton Smith (Furlow); Second grade: 1st place-Braylyn Israel (Southland), 2nd place-Kylee Lovelace (Furlow), 3rd place-Elyse Duke (Sumter County Elementary School); Third grade: 1st place-Jose Hernandez (Sumter County Elementary School), 2nd place-Isabelle Sarasiotis (Southland), 3rd place-Cierra Wilson (Schley). Tickets for Cowpoke Carnival are available at this year’s premier sponso,r Citizens Bank of Americus. Tickets can also be purchased at Clinic Drug store and from any League member. Cowpoke Carnival will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Sumter County Fairgrounds.
