AMERICUS – For those avid cyclists who are ready for the new year, Sumter Cycling will be hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, January 25 at Center Stage Market in Americus. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm.  A free meal will be provided and it will allow those interested in Cycling a chance to learn about the upcoming activities of the organization and to meet other cyclists. Sumter Cycling hosts monthly rides and is an advocacy group for bike safety and education. The organization works with local and state organizations to make Sumter County safer for cyclists and to promote bicycle tourism.
