Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church
The church’s 159th anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 with guest preacher, the Rev. David Hamm of Perry Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Leslie. New St. Paul Baptist Church

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Candlelight is observed at 2 p.m. March 11 March with guest speaker, Overseer Benny F. Clark, pastor of Breath of Life Ministries, Americus. The public is invited.

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
“The Gift in the Man” is celebrated as they observe the life, service and achievements of their pastor, Bishop Melvin McCluster, over the past 29 years. The pre-celebration services are Feb. 11, 18, 23, culminating on Feb. 25. The schedule is 6 p.m. Feb. 11, Bishop Frederick Williams and Gethsemane Worship Center of Albany, are in charge of services; at 2 p.m. Feb. 18, the Rev. George F. Monts and Zion Hope Baptist Church Family will be in charge of the Services; at 6 p.m. Feb. 23, Family and Friends Night, Flash Back Friday: Dress in ‘70s and ‘80s attire; best dressed will win a prize.  There will be praise dancing, singing, a skit by Sister Pat Harris, food and fun for everyone. And at 10 a.m. Feb. 25, Bishop Henry Moore Jr. and Piney Grove Baptist Church of Dawson are guests; colors for this day are: black, white and red. At 2:30 p.m. Feb. 25, the Anniversary Celebration culminates with the Rev. Hosie Waters and Lebanon Baptist Church, Magnolia Baptist Church and Green Grove Baptist Church families in charges; dinner follows in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited.
