The Americus Police Department is soliciting the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an assault which occurred at 11:28 a.m. on March 28 in the Perlis Plaza parking lot on East Forsyth Street in Americus. The suspect is described as a black male in his late 40s to early 50s, approximately 5’09”, medium build and unshaven. Anyone who recognizes this man is asked to call the Americus Police Department Anonymous Tip Line at 229- 924-4102 or the Criminal Investigations Division at 229-924-4550.
