EFNEP is the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program that reaches adults and youth through educational programs on food safety, healthy eating, and stretching the food dollar.  EFNEP participants learn how to save money on food, plan quick and easy meals for their family, prepare delicious and nutritious recipes, and keep foods safe to eat. Elizabeth Greene, EFNEP program assistant, invites you to join her next Food Talk. Classes are from 2-3 p.m. Mondays, April 9-June 4 at the Sumter County Agricultural Center Auditorium, 127 William Bowen Pointe. Food Talk is a University of Georgia Nutrition Program where participants will receive a University of Georgia ‘Meals in Minutes’ Cookbook and a University of Georgia Nutrition certificate with completion of the class.
