AMERICUS
Daniel Grove Baptist Church
The annual mission and ushers anniversary is celebrated at 11 a.m. May 20 during the worship service. Everyone is invited.

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The second anniversary of Pastor Ricky and first lady Veronda Cladd is celebrated at 2 p.m. April 15. Morning services are at 11 a.m. conducted by Pastor William Laster and Ebenezer Baptist Church of Ellaville. The 2 p.m. service is conducted by Pastor George F. Edge and the Restoration Church of Americus, The public is invited. Dinner will be served following the second service.

Calvary Episcopal Church
At 5 p.m. April 22, Brink Bush, Americus native and international concert organist, will appear in concert at Calvary Episcopal Church. Seated at the organ he played in his teenage years as he was learning more and more about the instrument that would one day make him famous in the world of organ music, Bush will offer an hour of musical enchantment rarely heard in our city. The concert is open to the public at no cost. A reception honoring the artist follows.

Americus Pentecostal Church
The annual Youth Revival us at 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 27 with guest speaker Minister Cory Price of Grace and Truth Revival Center., Leslie. Theme this year is “Order My Steps in Thy Word.”

Shipp Chapel Missionary Baptist Church
Spring Revival services are from 7:30-9 p.m. May 7-11. The public is invited.

Christians On a Mission Deliverance Center
Women Day is celebrated at 2:30 p.m. April 15 with Apostle, Dr.Pamela Miller from Majestic Kingdom Embassy, Camilla as speaker. Other special guests include Prophetess Jackie Drake of Greater Harvest Outreach Ministries Inc. Pelham and Camilla; Sister Tracy Porter, first lady of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Buena Vista; and Sister Debra Monts, first lady of Zion Hope Baptist Church and Whole Truth Ministries, Americus.

DESOTO
Big Bethel Baptist Church
Annual revival services starts at 7 p.m. April 17-19, with guest minister, the Rev. Bryant Keith Drake of Albany.

LESLIE
Freedom Harvest Worship Center
Spring revival services are at 7:30 p.m. April 23-26 with the following speakers: Monday, the Rev. Sterling Vereen and Oak Grove and Pleasant Grove Baptist churches; Tuesday, the Rev. Glenn Bryant and County Line and New Lebanon Baptist churches; Wednesday, Evangelist Allison Harvest and Sander Gifts; and Thursday, Pastor George Monts and Zion Hope Sumter City and Whole Truth Ministry.
Pastor Appreciation is observed May 6, starting at 9 a.m. with worship. The Rev. Dr. Juanita Nixon of Cutliff Grove Baptist Church, Albany is speaker. Apostle Izell Williams and New Direction are in charge of the 2:30 p.m. service. Everyone is invited to celebrate Pastor Georgia Deriso.

Perry Grove Missionary Baptist Church
Everyone is invited to the Seven Strong Women of the Bible program at 2:30 p.m. April 29. Speakers are Evangelist Dorothy Batts, Evangelist Barbara Burts, Evangelist Joyce Jackson, Evangelist Levonia Lockett, Minister Alice Reddick, Evangelist Sandra Turner and Minister Trynes Jackson.

PLAINS
Bethlehem Baptist Church
The Church and Pastor Anniversary celebration culminates at 10:45 a.m. April 15 when Pastor O. Quintodd Bryant delivers the message. Dinner will be served.

Lebanon Baptist Church
The 147th Church Anniversary is celebrated April 22 with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Hosie Waters bringing the message.

SMITHVILLE
New Hope A.M.E. Church
The annual Youth Revival is 7 p.m. May 14-16 with the following speakers. At 11 a.m. May 20 Youth Day is celebrated with a guest speaker. Everyone is invited.
