Ken Gustafson, sports editor, inadvertently included some inaccurate information on pitching stats in a story about Southland’s loss to Pinewood Christian, published in Wednesday’s edition.
In the story, it was stated that Ross Minick, starting pitcher in Game 2 of the series, gave up 10 runs on six hits. This is incorrect.
In that game, Minick gave up six runs on nine hits. Five of those six runs were earned. He struck out six batters and walked two.
