• Firefighters responded to 108 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to West Church and Habitat streets to a transformer on the ground burning. There was no fire.
• Firefighters responded to a bomb threat on North Lee Street. It was a false alarm.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Hosanna Circle.
• Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm on North Lee Street. There was no fire and the batteries were replaced.
• Firefighters responded to Harrold Avenue to an alarm which was activated by burned food.
• Firefighters responded to a cooking fire on Brinson Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on West Forsyth Street.
• Firefighters responded to Swett Avenue to the report of a wire down. They found two telephone wires down.
• Firefighters responded to Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee St., to a report of wires down. They found a large powerline blocking the roadway.
• Firefighters responded to the intersection of Maple Street and Armory Drive to a report of a power pole arcing. The power company was already scene.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm at the Windsor Hotel. 125 W. Lamar St. A faulty smoke detector was found in one of the rooms.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Hosanna Circle which was activated by burned food.
• Firefighters responded to vehicle fire on Brookdale Drive. They found a sedan on fire which they extinguished as well as spot fires around the vehicle.
• Firefighters responded to Hudson Street to a report of a gas odor. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at East Hill Street and Elm Avenue.
• Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire on Appleblossom Lane, which was under investigation.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on East Lamar Street.
• Firefighters responded to a gasoline spill at Flash Foods, 1101 Crawford St. where they used oil dry on the three-gallon spill from a vehicle.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm at Shiver Lumber Co., 720 W. Church St. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on West Lamar Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Rucker Street.
• Firefighters responded to North Jackson Street where an occupant wanted to have her smoke detectors checked.
• Firefighters responded to Springdale Street to install a smoke detector.
• Firefighters responded to Walmart, 1711 E. Lamar St., to a report of a vehicle fire. They found a machine inside a trailer on the loading dock smoking. It was identified as an electric forklift by the store manager. They assisted store personnel in removing the forklift to the outside.
• Firefighters responded to Douglas Circle to install a smoke detector.
• Firefighters responded to North Lee Street to install a smoke detector.
• Firefighters responded to Sunset Drive to install a smoke detector.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Railroad Street. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to Brookdale Drive to a smoke detector malfunction.
• Firefighters responded to Frieda Lane to a report of wires down. They found a phone/cable line down lying across the roadway and removed it.
• Firefighters responded to 1207 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. They found a large semi carrying vehicles attempting to pull into the parking lot of the Quality Inn, scrubbing the asphalt and damaging the road and trailer. A wrecker was called and a hydraulic hose burst, spilling 5-10 gallons of oil onto the ground. Fire personnel dammed the oil to prevent it getting into the storm drain. Another wrecker arrived and pulled the semi from the roadway.

• Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm on Railroad Street. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm at the Clarence Jordan Center, 121 Habitat St. No hazards were found.
