Schley 4-H’ers attend Wilderness Challenge Camp
Schley County had two 4-H’ers who took the challenge to participate in a week of Summer Camp. This camp is not like any other camp, it is a of action-packed fun.
At the Wilderness Challenge Camp, they had the opportunity to whitewater raft on Tennessee’s Ocoee River. They took hikes on the Appalachian Trail, participated in challenging games, nightly campfires and so much more.
At the end of the week there was a slide show to recap what all these brave campers experienced.
Lily Harbuck and Liberty Justice were the Schley 4-H’ers who attended. They both said that they didn’t want to leave to come home, and can’t wait for next year.
Brenda Welch said that maybe next year a lot more may want to attemd the Wilderness Challenge Camp or any other camp for 4-H’ers.
Contact Brenda Welch at Schley County Extension/4-H Office in the Courthouse or call her at 937-1180.
