AMERICUS — Early voting began promptly at 8 a.m. Monday morning, and will continue from 8 a.m.5 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Early voting is taking place in the Office of Elections and Registration in the Sumter County Courthouse. As of 5 p.m. Monday, 250 early votes have been cast.
