Individuals or businesses that suffered damages from Hurricane Michael are encouraged to come and receive information regarding their eligibility for different types of disaster assistance. Citizens of Americus and Sumter County and surrounding communities are invited to attend.

Jerusalem Baptist Church
Everyone is welcome to the Friends and Family Day Celebration on Dec. 9 with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m.

Freedom Harvest Worship Center
Pastor Georgia Deriso’s eighth anniversary is celebrated at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 when the Right Rev. Donavon O. Coley and Forest Park Baptist Church family of Columbus are in charge of the service. The theme is “A Pastor After God’s Own Heart.” Everyone is invited. Dinner will be served.
A Fruit of the Spirit service is at 3 p.m. Dec. 30 with a youth community choir, and Minister Emmanuel Robinson, Alicia Wright, Shanekia Williams, Kelleigh Mercer, Jasmine King, Deangela Tullis, Quinton Sim, Whitney Kimbrough, and T’Keyah Swain as speakers. Everyone is invited.

Rylander Church
A gospel singing, featuring Dayspring of Americus, is at 7 p.m. Dec. 1.
