Founders Day is observed at 11 a.m. Dec 9 in memory of the founder, the late Pastor Eugene Cooper, and in honor of the co-founder, Missionary Delorn Cooper. Guest speaker is Pastor Linda Wright of New Union Grove Baptist Church. Dinner will be served.

 

New Jerusalem Baptist Church

The annual Christmas Program is at 3 p.m. Dec 16. There will be no Sunday school or 9:30 a.m. worship service. The Youth Department is in charge of the Christmas Program, and the Rev.  Toney Smith delivers the sermon. Christmas dinner will be served.

 

Daniel Grove Missionary Baptist Church

Pastor Curtis and first lady Yvonne Iverson’s 25th Anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m.  Dec. 16 with Pastor Rob Hubbard of Greater Cedar Springs, bringing the message. Dinner will be served.

Jerusalem Baptist Church

Everyone is welcome to the Friends and Family Day Celebration on Dec. 9 with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m.

Freedom Harvest Worship Center

A Fruit of the Spirit service is at 3 p.m. Dec. 30 with a youth community choir, and Minister Emmanuel Robinson, Alicia Wright, Shanekia Williams, Kelleigh Mercer, Jasmine King, Deangela Tullis, Quinton Sim, Whitney Kimbrough, and T’Keyah Swain as speakers. Everyone is invited.

 

St. John Baptist Church

The church and pastor’s anniversary is celebrated Dec. 16 with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. During the 11 a.n. worship service, the Mount Able Baptist Church family of Lee County will be in charge of the service, and Minister Ferlin Tyson will bring the message. At 2:30 p.m. the Rev. Wilson and Oak Grove Baptist Church family of Cordele will be in charge of the service. Dinner will be served.

Lebanon Baptist Church

On Dec. 23, the worship service will be at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Hosie Waters.

Watch Night Services begins at 10 p.m. Dec. 31 with the Rev. Travis Rush of Spring Creek Baptist Church, the Rev. Curtis Iverson of Daniel Grove Baptist Church and the Rev. Hosie Waters.
