AMERICUS
Christians on a Mission Deliverance Center
The 20th Pastor Appreciation is observed in March, with the following schedule: Pastor Michael Edge and William Grove Baptist Church; 7 p.m. March 18, Pastor George Monts with Whole Truth Ministries and Zion Hope Baptist Church; 7 p.m. March 19, Pastor George Edge and Restoration Church of Americus; 7 p.m. March 20, Dr. Pamela Miller and Majestic Kingdom Embassy of Camilla. Appreciation services culminate at 9:45 a.m. March 24 with Dr. Timothy L. Miller Sr. of Camilla. Everyone is invited.

Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
Women’s Day celebration is at 11 a.m. March 31 during the morning worship service. Theme is “Queen Status Living Your Best Life through Christ.” Colors are black, white, and yellow. Carla Heath Sands of WALB-TV news is guest speaker. Everyone is invited, and dinner will be served.

Shipp Chapel Baptist Church
The annual senior choir anniversary is celebrated at 3 p.m. March 17. The public is invited. Each choir is asked to render an A&B selection. Light refreshments will be served.

New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Youth Revival is at 7 p.m. April 2-4. Speaker is Pastor Octavious Quintodd Bryant of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Plains. The revival culminates at 11 a.m. April 7.

DESOTO
Marthanna Living Way of Christ Church
A Benefit Program for Pastor Anthony Walker Shunda Walker’s son, Ajavious Walker is at 4 p.m. March 23. All surrounding churches and communities are invited.

ELLAVILLE
William Grove Baptist Church
The Women’s Ministry celebrates the annual Women’s Day at 11 a.m. March 24. Minister Ellen Battle of Tabernacle of Faith brings the Holy Word. The public is invited.

PLAINS
Lebanon Baptist Church
The Senior Choir celebrates its anniversary during the March 24 11 a.m. worship service with the Rev. Hosie Water presiding. Everyone is invited.

SMITHVILLE
New Hope A.M.E. Church
Family, Friends and Guests Day is observed at 11 a.m. March 17 during morning worship when Minister Albert Hayslip of Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Lee County brings the message. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m.
