• Firefighters responded to seven calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on South Lee Street where they found a construction crew doing repairs had activated it.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm at Council Services, 112 Industrial Blvd., but the call was cancelled enroute.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Firefighters responded to an alarm to Shiver Lumber Co., 720 West Church St. They were advised by an employee that it was a false alarm and that the alarm company had been notified.
• Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Lonnie Lane. The observed flames coming from a small part of the back passenger side of the car trunk.
