Preparation is ongoing for the silent auction and live auction, hosted by friends of Ginny Whaley. The event is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 18 at The Carnegie, downtown, and features heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages by Cousins Catering. There will be a silent auction and a live auction to raise funds for the purchase of a new organ for First United Methodist Church. Donations are $250/couple and $125/single.
