AMERICUS — Americus Police responded to Georgia Avenue on Thursday to a report of a driv-by shooting.

According to a press release from the Americus Police Department, officers responded at 4:15 p.m. to 807 Georgia Ave. There they learned that shots had been fired from a vehicle but no one was injured. During the investigation officers were informed that the shots were fired from a white vehicle that had left the area.
