AMERICUS – Americus-Sumter (ASHS) senior Tymia Williams had a big shooting night as she led the ASHS Rifle Team to a victory over Westover. Williams shot the highest score in all three positions for either team with a point total of 277 to lead the Panthers to victory.
AS a team, ASHS shot a total of 1,070 points to Westover’s 986. Fellow seniors Courtney Coley shot 268 points, Tiffany Williams had 267 and Safaria Carson shot a total of 258 points to round out the Panthers’ top four.
Up next for ASHS is a trip down to Albany to take on the Trojans of Dougherty Comprehensive High School.
