AMERICUS – South Georgia Technical College is beginning remote registration for its eight-week Summer Semester, which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 27. The application fee and testing requirements for summer registration have been waived.
“South Georgia Technical College faculty and staff have begun registering existing students for the shortened summer semester,” said SGTC President Dr. John Watford. “Program instructors are contacting existing students by email and phone and registering them remotely for summer semester. The admissions office is processing all new student applications and will begin forwarding those names to the appropriate instructors to follow up with by phone and email for remote registration.”
SGTC will be offering online courses for the eight-week mini-semester and will also offer some four-week classes. Additional courses may be added for the second half of the term depending on opportunities for campus activities.
It is not too late to apply and take advantage of gaining 16 weeks of credit in eight or four weeks of class in an online format.
