AMERICUS – South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) is offering students the opportunity to complete a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) waiver form if their financial aid was impacted because they could not complete classes for Spring 2020 due to COVID19.

“We realize that students may have been impacted adversely by the COVID-19 pandemic and the sudden transfer to online classes,” said SGTC President Dr. John Watford. “In an effort to help students, our financial aid department created the SAP Waiver form.”

SGTC Financial Aid Director Kelly Everett shared that if students were unable to complete their Spring 2020 classes due to hardships imposed by COVID-19, they may qualify for the waiver, which could help their financial aid status.

For more information about the SAP financial aid waiver form, contact the SGTC Financial Aid Office. Students must complete and return the form for review.
