PERRY – It was a rough and difficult night for the Southland Lady Raiders (SAR), as they fell to the Westfield Lady Hornets 48-17 on Thursday, December 4, at the Westfield School.

It was a game in which SAR could not handle the defensive pressure from the Lady Hornets and they could not score. The loss puts SAR at 2-3 on the season.

Sophie Blankenship led the Lady Raiders in scoring with five points.

The Lady Raiders will try to rebound from this setback when they travel down to Damascus, GA on Friday, December 15, to take on Southwest Georgia Academy. Tip off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
