Dana Daniel’s seventh-grade English language arts class at Sumter County Middle School was hard at work analyzing texts to show how different authors presented their opinions on the same topic. They used evidence from the texts to identify facts and opinions and discussed how the various authors used a variety of techniques to distinguish their point of view from others.
