Wednesday was Customer Appreciation Day for utility customers in the city of Americus. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. customers were invited to stop by the tent outside the Utility Billing Department at 1401 E. Forsyth St. to enjoy a lunch of grilled hotdogs, chips and a beverage, as well as to pick up information, pens and coozies.
