AMERICUS — The Americus Mayor and City Council informs the citizens that the final pickup day for large storm debris piles of limbs and other debris will be Dec. 18. Contractors will begin picking up these piles around Dec. 4 and will complete pickup on Dec. 18. This is for storm debris only. If you have any questions or know of debris that needs to be removed, please call the Public Works Department at 229-924-4411 Ext. 260.
