• Firefighters responded to 12 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters went to Fairway Circle and installed two smoke alarms.
• Firefighters were dispatched to Academy Street but were advised by Gold Star EMS en route to cancel
their response.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on West Lamar Street.
• Firefighters were dispatched to Poplar Street but cancelled en route.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at South Lee Street and Rose Avenue.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Industrial Boulevard and Southerfield Road.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Elm Avenue and Smith Street.
• Firefighters responded to Peachtree Street to a report of a possible car fire. There was no smoke or fire but they found a
loose cable on the battery and advised owner to have a mechanic inspect it.
• Firefighters responded to a dumpster fire on North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. They found a “very small amount”
of trash smoldering inside the dumpster and extinguished it.
