Mr. Charlie M. Daniels Jr. age 82, of Americus, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mike McPherson will officiate.

Mr. Daniels was born August 18, 1937 in Cuthbert, GA. He was the son of the late Charlie Martin Daniels Sr. and the late Willie Clyde Milner Daniels.

He was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers Pete Daniels (Joan) of Americus and David Lunsford of Smith Station, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Jimmy Frank Daniels, Leslie Thompson, Mary Susanne Derington, Ashley Nichole Barnes, Brenda Keene, Jane McPherson and several others.

Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by four brothers Johnny Daniels, Mack Wilber Daniels, Roger Daniels and Walter Daniels and a sister Martha Jean Keene.
