Christians on a Mission Deliverance Center

New Corinth Baptist Church

Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
The Noisy B. Stephens Women Missionary Society observes its annual Missionary Day at 11 a.m. Oct. 18. All missionaries are invited.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church
The Pre-Pastor’s anniversary is celebrated at 7 p.m. Oct. 13-15. Tuesday features Pastor Kenny Gouch and Old Antioch Baptist Church; Wednesday, Pastor Courtney Moore and Kingdom of heaven Ministry; and Thursday, the Rev. Joe Oglesby and Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, and Old Corinth Baptist Church choir.
The celebration culminates Oct. 18 with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Moseley of Warner Robins bringing the word. At 3 p.m., the Rev. George F. Monts and Zion Hope Baptist Church of Sumter City delivers the message. Everyone is welcome.

New Mount Mariah  Baptist Church
The first choir anniversary is celebrated at 3 p.m. Oct. 11. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited.

Perry B. Grove Baptist Church

An Installation Service for Pastor Eugene Tookes is at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18. Pastor Michael B. Edge and William Grove Baptist Church are in charge of services. The public is invited.

Big Bethel Baptist Church
The 132nd church anniversary celebration culminates at 11 a.m. Sunday when Pastor Calvin F. Rollins delivers the sermon, and at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. Dr. H.C. Wilson and Mount Olive Baptist Church, Americus are in charge of the service. The theme is “A Great and Mighty Walk” and everyone is invited.

Corinth Baptist Church

United Holiness Church Headquarters
Hallelujah Night is from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28 with music, food, skits and trunk or treat.

Fellowship Baptist Church
Here is an opportunity to share something you normally throw away. The September mission project is recycling empty medicine bottles: small, both prescription or non-prescription, plastic bottles. The bottles will sent to poor countries where only paper is available. When medicines are wrapped in paper, they can be easily damaged, lost or a danger to children. Labels can be removed with GooBgone or hot water. Place in a plastic bag and drop in designated container at the church or call Linda Degelmann at 942-2000.

Union Oak Grove Baptist Church
The annual Ushers’ Fellowship program ius celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Everyone is invited.

Buena Vista
Mount Carmel Baptist Church
The 175th Homecoming service is Oct. 25. This special day starts at 10 a.m. with gospel singing by Calvary’s Cross from Americus/Sumter County area. There will be a brief intermission before the 11 a.m. worship service with guest speaker, the Rev. Tommy Fountain, pastor, Grace Baptist Church, Winder (formerly of Columbus and Marion County). A covered dish lunch in the dining hall follows, followed by more gospel singing from Calvary’s Cross.  Theme is “Through the Years-generations of Family and Friends.” The community is welcomed.
Revival services are at 7 p.m. Oct. 26-28 with special music each night. Guest speaker is local pastor, Brother Mike McGlaun. All are welcome.
